These Booking Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all bookings made with Philippines Travel Tours ("we", "us", "our"). By completing a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in full.
Philippines Travel Tours is a small-group tour operator specialising in curated travel experiences across the Philippines. We operate small-group tours with a maximum of 12 guests per departure.
We strongly recommend that you read all sections carefully before booking. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] before confirming your reservation.
A booking is confirmed when we receive your completed booking form and non-refundable deposit payment of AUD $500. Upon receipt, we will send you a booking confirmation email within 24 hours. All bookings are subject to availability. Philippines Travel Tours reserves the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
All travellers must be aged 18 years or older at the time of travel. By booking, you confirm that you and all members of your party meet this requirement.
If you are booking on behalf of another person or group, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and that all parties have read and agreed to these Terms. You accept responsibility for ensuring all relevant information is communicated to each traveller.
You are responsible for ensuring all booking details are accurate, including full legal names as per passport, contact information, dietary requirements, and any relevant medical conditions. Errors resulting from inaccurate information provided at booking may incur amendment fees.
A non-refundable deposit of AUD $500 per person is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the tour. Your deposit is your commitment to travel and will be applied to your total tour cost.
Once your deposit is received, we will issue a balance invoice. You have two payment options:
Your preferred payment method must be confirmed within 30 days of the invoice being issued. If no selection is made, full payment will be expected within 30 days of invoice.
If you book within 60 days of the departure date, the full tour price (including deposit) is payable at the time of booking. Instalment plans are not available for bookings made within 60 days of departure.
If you choose to pay via monthly instalments, a 5% surcharge on the total tour price will apply. Instalments are billed monthly until 60 days prior to departure — the number of monthly payments will vary depending on when you book. This surcharge is non-refundable and is in addition to the standard tour price.

If the balance is not received by the due date, we will send a payment reminder. If payment remains outstanding 5 business days after the reminder, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Cancellation fees as outlined in Section 4 will apply.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD). Tour prices are locked in once your deposit has been received and your booking confirmation issued.
We recommend budgeting approximately AUD $80–$150 per day for personal expenses, additional meals, and optional activities.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. A cancellation is not effective until we have confirmed receipt in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover at the time of booking. Philippines Travel Tours is not liable for any expenses incurred as a result of your cancellation, including flights, accommodation, or visas.
If you wish to reschedule your booking to a future departure date, you must notify us in writing at least 60 days before your original departure date. Subject to availability, we will transfer your deposit to the new departure date. Rescheduled bookings must be used within 12 months of the original departure date. Reschedule requests within 60 days of departure will be assessed on a case-by-case basis with supporting documentation.
Any fees or costs imposed by third-party suppliers as a result of your reschedule request — including but not limited to airlines, accommodation providers, and activity operators — are your responsibility and will be invoiced to you in addition to any administration fee. Philippines Travel Tours is not liable for these costs and they are not covered by your deposit.
Our tours require a minimum of 6 confirmed guests to depart. We reserve the right to cancel a tour if this minimum is not met, in which case we will notify you no less than 30 days prior to departure and offer a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative available departure date. In the event we cancel for operational reasons other than Force Majeure, you will receive a full refund of monies paid.
A "Force Majeure Event" means any event beyond our reasonable control that makes it dangerous, impractical, or impossible for the tour to commence or continue, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, extreme weather, war, civil unrest, terrorism, epidemic, pandemic, government restrictions, or border closures.
Philippines Travel Tours is not liable for any cancellation, curtailment, or disruption caused by a Force Majeure Event. In such circumstances, no refund or credit will be issued by Philippines Travel Tours. We are not responsible for any costs or losses you incur as a result, including flights, accommodation, or other expenses.
This is why comprehensive travel insurance covering Force Majeure events, trip cancellation, and trip disruption is mandatory for all guests. It is your responsibility to ensure your policy covers these circumstances so you can claim any losses through your insurer.
Requests to amend your booking (e.g. change of name, room type, or departure date) must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Amendments are subject to availability.
Any fees or costs imposed by third-party suppliers as a result of your amendment request — including but not limited to airlines, accommodation providers, and activity operators — are your responsibility. Philippines Travel Tours will invoice you for any such costs and payment is required before the amendment is confirmed.
No amendments can be made within 30 days of departure. Name changes may not be permitted after final documentation has been issued.
We reserve the right to make minor changes to your itinerary at any time, including changes to accommodation, transport, or the order of activities, where necessary due to operational requirements, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond our control.
If a significant change is required before departure (e.g. a change of departure date or destination), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you the choice of accepting the change, transferring to an alternative available tour, or cancelling with a full refund.
By booking, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the tour activities. Our tours involve moderate physical activity, including walking, swimming, and boat travel. If you have any medical condition, disability, or other circumstance that may affect your ability to participate, you must disclose this to us in writing prior to booking.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking if we determine that a traveller's condition poses a risk to themselves or other guests. In such cases, our cancellation policy will apply.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold all valid travel documentation required for your trip, including but not limited to a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity beyond your return date, any required visas, and all other entry documents required for travel to the Philippines and any transit countries.
Your passport must be in acceptable condition — free from significant damage, tears, water damage, or any defacement that may cause it to be rejected by immigration or border authorities. Philippines Travel Tours accepts no responsibility for any costs, losses, or consequences arising from your failure to hold correct, valid, or undamaged travel documentation. If you are denied boarding, refused entry, or deported for any reason related to your travel documents, all monies paid to Philippines Travel Tours are non-refundable and our standard cancellation policy applies.
All travellers must complete the Philippine eTravel registration at etravel.gov.ph within 72 hours of arrival.
All travellers must comply with the laws, regulations, customs, and cultural norms of the Philippines and any other countries visited during the tour. Philippines Travel Tours accepts no liability for any consequences arising from a traveller's failure to comply.
We expect all travellers to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards other guests, our team, local communities, and the environment. We reserve the right to remove any traveller from the tour without refund if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate, dangerous, or disruptive.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. If you do not hold valid travel insurance, you will not be permitted to join the trip. No exceptions.
Your policy must cover, at minimum:
You must provide proof of insurance upon request. Philippines Travel Tours accepts no responsibility for any costs arising from your failure to hold appropriate insurance.
We offer three accommodation packages to suit how you're travelling:
Your own private room for the duration of the tour. You will never be paired with a stranger.
For two friends travelling together, sharing a room with separate beds. Sold as a pair only — cannot be purchased by a single traveller. Both guests must book together and are always accommodated in the same room.
For two guests travelling as a couple, sharing a double or queen bed. Couples are always accommodated together throughout the tour.
All accommodation is chosen to meet Philippines Travel Tours' quality and comfort standards. Specific properties for each departure will be confirmed in your tour documentation. All accommodation is subject to availability. Philippines Travel Tours reserves the right to substitute any accommodation with a property of equal or higher standard.
The published itinerary represents our planned programme. The Philippines is a dynamic environment and we may need to adapt activities, routes, or timing due to weather, tides, safety conditions, local regulations, or other circumstances outside our control.
Where an activity cannot proceed as planned, we will endeavour to substitute it with an alternative of comparable value. No refund will be provided for any activity that cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond our control. Our Tour Guide's decision regarding itinerary adjustments made in the field is final.
Philippines Travel Tours takes all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. However, travel to the Philippines involves inherent risks including participation in adventure activities. By booking, you accept these risks and agree that Philippines Travel Tours, its employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or loss of life arising from participation in these activities, except where caused by our direct negligence.
Philippines Travel Tours acts as a tour organiser and, in relation to certain services, as an agent for third-party suppliers. We are not liable for any act, omission, default, or negligence of any third-party supplier. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the total price paid by you for that booking.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, or conditions implied by law (including the Australian Consumer Law) that cannot be lawfully limited or excluded.
On designated free days, Philippines Travel Tours may provide a curated list of suggested activities and experiences. Any activities booked independently by you during free days are entirely at your own risk and expense. Philippines Travel Tours accepts no responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, loss of life, or inconvenience arising from independently arranged activities.
We recommend checking with your travel insurer that any optional free day activities (such as scooter hire or ATV tours) are covered by your policy before participating.
Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of managing your booking and delivering tour services. We will not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the tour or as required by law.
By travelling with us, you consent to photographs and videos being taken during the tour and used by Philippines Travel Tours for marketing and promotional purposes across our website and social media channels. If you do not wish to be featured, please notify your Tour Guide at the commencement of the tour.
Philippines Travel Tours wants every guest to have an exceptional experience. If you have a concern during the tour, please raise it with your Tour Guide as soon as possible so we can resolve it promptly. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact us at [email protected] after the tour.
Philippines Travel Tours is not liable for complaints relating to third-party suppliers, however we will always do our best to assist in resolving any issues that arise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with your booking or these Terms must be initiated in the courts of Queensland, Australia.
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Philippines Travel Tours. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
